Mike Gilleland provides a delightful snippet from Diogenes Laertius on Zeno. It is not quite clear, though, which Zeno is intended, Zeno the Stoic, of Citium, or Zeno of Elea, the Zeno of the famous paradoxes of motion. I'll put my money on Zeno the Stoic.
UPDATE (3 January): Gilleland writes: Your money is safe. Diogenes Laertius organized his lives of the philosophers by schools, and book 7 is devoted to the Stoics.
